Directions and Parking

If you are driving in, please note that Hwy 40/64 will be closed at S. Kingshighway due to construction.  You can click on the link below to map a different route.  To see a real time map click on destination then hospitals and select Washington University or Barnes Jewish Hospital.  http://dist6.modot.mo.gov/mapmytrip/

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is located within the Washington University Medical Center in the "Central West End" of St. Louis. It is near the intersection of two major thoroughfares, U.S. Highway 40 (Interstate 64) and Kingshighway. Take the Kingshighway North exit proceeding to the 2nd intersection turning right on Children's Place (not Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza). Wohl Hospital is the entrance to the right of Chromolloy Kidney Center.

From Interstate 55 or 70 west, exit to Interstate 44 west and follow directions above.

From Interstate 70 east, exit to U.S. Highway 40 (Interstate 64) west (right) at Wentzville to downtown St. Louis.

From Interstate 44 East, exit at Kingshighway (North) and travel approximately 1.2 miles north on Kingshighway.

From Interstate 44 West, exit at Vandeventer Ave. and continue straight on McRee to Kingshighway North.

If you park in the Children’s Parking Garagewhich is located on Children’s Place, your parking will be reimbursed. To get to the Children’s Garage take Kingshighway North to Children’s Place (2nd intersection). Make a right onto Children’s Place. The Children’s Parking Garage will be directly on your right.
