Interview Day

What to Expect

On Thursday evening before each categorical interview session our Housestaff take applicants and their guests to dinner. We encourage applicants to attend dinner as it provides an opportunity to speak with our current housestaff. Applicants are welcome to bring their spouse or significant other.

On interview day, you will:

• Attend a breakfast presentation with our Chairman, Program Director, Associate Program Director, and Chief Residents

• Interview with one member of our Internal Medicine faculty

• Tour the Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University Medical Complex with our Chief Residents

• Participate in Residents' Report

• Be our guest for lunch with our Housestaff

• Attend Clinical Pathological Conference (CPC)

• Participate in a Q&A with our Program Director and Chief Residents

• Meet informally with members of our faculty and Housestaff at Pizza Rounds

The formal activities of the interview day end at approximately 4:00 PM.
