We will accept applications from September 15, 2019 – November 1, 2019 for the 2020 Residency Match.


We look forward to receiving your application through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). We do not accept applications via any other platform, including mail, fax, phone or email.

- Dean’s Letter of Recommendation (MSPE)

- At Least Three (3) Letters of Recommendation. One (1) letter must be the Department of Medicine Chair’s Letter of Support

- USMLE Scores Posted:

       USMLE Step 1 score (230 or above to be competitive)

       A passing USMLE Step 2 CK and CS score must be posted in ERAS prior to the NRMP rank list submission deadline

       As applications received are highly competitive, all USMLE scores must be passed on the first attempt, including Step 2 CS

- Personal Statement

- Medical School graduation date within three (3) years of application date




- At least six (6) months of recent clinical experience in the United States (this does not include Observerships).

- Current ECFMG certification

- USMLE Step 1, 2 CK & CS Scores posted in ERAS

- We support J-1 Visas only

All applications to our program will be reviewed in ERAS by a selection committee.  Applicants selected for an interview will receive an invitation that includes available interview dates from October – January. We will continue to review applications and extend interviews as availability allows.


A detailed schedule will be provided to all applicants invited to interview.


- Applicants should plan to arrive the afternoon prior to their interview, to participate in a tour of the city and welcome dinner with current residents.

- Each applicant will be interviewed by two (2) faculty members.

- The morning of your interview will begin with breakfast, followed by a welcome from the Chair of the Department of Medicine, Internal Medicine Program Director and Chief Residents.

- Applicants will tour the facilities and have an opportunity to enjoy lunch with chief residents, experience conference and educational activities, and enjoy an informal social gathering with residents.


The interview day typically concludes at 2:30 PM.
